Each capsule contains zizyphus seed which is one of the classic Chinese herbal medicines for anxiety and insomnia. Modern pharmacological studies have shown that saponins, flavonoids, alkaloids, and fatty acids are the main bioactive components of zizyphus seed to exert sedative and hypnotic effects.
